Apply for a Keramos chapter grant through CGIF

The Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation (CGIF) has partnered with Keramos, the National Professional Ceramic Engineering Fraternity, to provide grants to Keramos chapters. Grant funding for Keramos chapters should be used for chapter activities that help further the CGIF’s mission of attracting, inspiring, and supporting the next generation of ceramic and glass professionals.

Keramos Grant Funding Guidelines

  • Keramos grant applications through the CGIF are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. Please allow a minimum of four weeks for your grant application to be reviewed. Plan to submit your grant application a minimum of four weeks before your project/event start date.
  • Does your project or event idea involve open flame, liquid nitrogen, or other potentially dangerous activities? Please give us insight into your safety procedures in the Project Summary section of the grant application.
  • All projects/events must be directly related to introducing students (K–12 or university) to ceramic and glass science or expanding materials science education.
