The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) will support one intern for participation in the 2017 Washington Internships for Students of Engineering (WISE) program, which is seeking applications from exceptional engineering students who display evidence of leadership skills and have a keen interest in public policy.

Material Advantage students who are US citizens or legal permanent residents and are a junior or senior entering their final year of undergraduate studies are eligible.  WISE will also accept applications from engineering grads who are beginning masters-level study in a technology policy-related degree.

Any eligible student who is interested in applying must complete the application for The American Ceramic Society (ACerS).  The ACerS application is downloadable as a Word Document or fillable PDF on the WISE application webpage.  ACerS is the first sponsoring society listed in the table on the webpage.  The completed application must be sent directly to Tricia Freshour at tfreshour@ceramics.org.

The deadline to apply is December 31, 2016, 12 p.m. (EST).
